Allen going down and McNerney and Bowen winning almost make up for Ned (the true inspiration -- I really do think his primary victory was a turning point). Some day it'd be great if every single solitary election turned out the way I wanted, but this is probably as close as it will get.

So I enjoyed it last night with a little wine and my laptop -- party, party!
